Job Summary

In this role at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and integration of specialized target drone systems used for international training campaigns. Based in Immenstaad, you will work on complex mechanical and electronic sub-assemblies, performing intricate soldering and crimping tasks to integrate payload components. Your responsibilities extend to the final acceptance testing of drones and the commissioning of ground equipment. This position is unique as it combines high-precision workshop manufacturing with the opportunity to support international flight campaigns on-site. You will work in a technologically advanced environment within the unmanned aerial systems sector, ensuring the success of complex defense missions. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Aviation Systems, Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in manufacturing, production, or mechatronics
  • Practical experience in the aviation industry or aerospace technology
  • Experience in manned or unmanned aircraft construction is highly advantageous
  • Proven experience in performing complex repair and maintenance work on electronic systems
