Job Summary

This role involves leading the technical operations team at the Kastellaun site for the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces). As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical supervision of personnel, coordinating the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of all technical building systems. You will manage administrative processes within SAP, oversee occupational safety training, and ensure electrical safety as the Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK). The position requires active participation in construction measures and the technical acceptance of new facilities. This is a permanent public service position (TVöD E 9a) that offers a unique environment combining technical leadership with administrative oversight and a commitment to national security infrastructure. The role includes on-call duties and requires a high degree of responsibility regarding occupational health, fire protection, and environmental safety.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in electrical engineering followed by further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician (Techniker) in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of electrotechnical systems
  • Experience in a Master or Technician level function
  • Experience in personnel management and technical leadership
  • Experience in work preparation and administrative processing
  • Proven knowledge of relevant safety regulations and occupational health standards
