Job Summary

This role involves leading critical infrastructure projects focused on the renewal and modernization of overhead contact lines and traction power systems across major German rail routes, including Munich–Freilassing and Passau–Nürnberg. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the technical integration of 16.7 Hz traction power systems, 50 Hz medium and low-voltage networks, and central power plants. Your daily responsibilities will include managing the modernization of signaling and safety technology (LST) and telecommunications infrastructure, specifically fiber optic (LWL) systems. A key challenge of this position is coordinating complex construction activities within existing facilities and under active rail operations. This is an attractive opportunity for an experienced engineer to take ownership of large-scale energy and transport infrastructure projects that are essential to the modernization of the European rail network, requiring a deep understanding of industry-specific standards and approval processes.
