Job Summary

As a Principal Platform Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of production-grade Kubernetes clusters with a strict automation-first and GitOps approach. Your daily responsibilities include managing the entire cluster lifecycle—from bootstrapping and node design to scaling and hardening—while integrating essential platform components such as CNI, CSI, and Policy as Code. A unique aspect of this role is the implementation of KubeVirt to manage virtual machine lifecycles within Kubernetes environments. You will be instrumental in building self-service capabilities through APIs and blueprints, ensuring operational stability through SLOs and incident management. Beyond technical execution, you will act as a mentor to other engineers, establishing 'golden paths' and conducting architectural reviews. This position is ideal for experts who thrive in highly regulated environments and enjoy deep technical challenges involving IPv6 networking and complex infrastructure automation.
