Job Summary

This role focuses on enhancing the performance and operational readiness of airborne systems through sophisticated electro-optical (EO) analysis. As part of a Research and Development team, you will support the German Armed Forces in the conceptual design and configuration of electro-optical self-protection systems and technical countermeasures. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive signal processing evaluations, hardware and software analysis of algorithms, and utilizing specialized laboratory equipment such as optical benches and blackbody calibration sources. The position offers a clear career path toward project leadership, where you will eventually coordinate analysis projects and provide technical guidance to a team. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).

Experience

  • Professional experience in electronic circuit and control technology
  • Experience in microcontroller and embedded programming is highly desirable
  • Practical experience with electro-optical systems or sensor technology is advantageous
  • Experience in conducting laboratory measurements and using data acquisition tools
  • Experience in technical reporting and systematic documentation of analysis results
