Job Summary

The Federal Office for Logistics and Mobility (BALM) is seeking a Team Lead for its 'Environment and Safety' subsidy program in Saarbrücken. In this role, you will manage a team of approximately six administrative clerks, overseeing the processing of grant applications and ensuring the quality of subsidy notices. Your day-to-day responsibilities include motivating staff, conducting team meetings, and preparing decisions on complex legal and administrative cases related to transport safety and environmental protection. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in public administration or economics who enjoy leadership and organizational management. The role offers a high degree of flexibility with mobile work options (up to three days per week) and a family-friendly environment. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) preferably in Economics or Public Administration; or equivalent qualification such as Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt); or eligibility for the higher intermediate non-technical administrative service (gehobener Dienst).

Experience
