Job Summary

This role involves working with a market leader in aerospace technology, focusing on the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components to ensure safety and operational readiness. As an NDT Inspector, you will be responsible for investigating and documenting damage to both new and existing components, identifying root causes, and independently planning testing sequences. You will select the most technically and economically viable non-destructive testing methods, oversee laboratory tests, and consolidate findings into comprehensive technical reports. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with structural mechanics and project management teams to define corrective actions and represent the department in specialist committees. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Material Tester or in a metalworking profession. Certification according to DIN EN 4179 is considered a significant advantage.

Experience

  • Professional experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) or material testing preferred
  • Background in a metalworking profession or specialized material testing training
  • Experience in investigating and documenting component damage and root cause analysis
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and work within structured technical environments
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment with a high level of personal responsibility
