Job Summary

This leadership role involves overseeing the Control and Safety Technology department for Cologne's public transport system, serving as the technical backbone of the city's transit operations. The successful candidate will manage sub-departments including control and information technology, signal technology, and technical controlling. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the strategic development of infrastructure, ensuring operational safety and quality, and managing large-scale budgets and personnel. You will be responsible for the planning, construction, and maintenance of rail systems in accordance with German transit regulations (BOStrab).
