Job Summary

This role offers a motivated working student the opportunity to actively shape the future of urban mobility in Cologne by supporting the implementation of sustainable transportation projects. The successful candidate will act as a key interface between the KVB (Cologne Transport Authority), the City of Cologne, and external partners, focusing on strengthening the environmental network. Day-to-day tasks involve independent project support, including planning and realizing a city-wide network of mobility stations, analyzing and visualizing data from various sources, and contributing to the successful implementation of a Power BI dashboard for monitoring station operations. This position is ideal for a student with an IT or business background who possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured, self-reliant working style, offering genuine impact and valuable insights into urban transport management.

Required Skills

Education

Full-time university enrollment in IT Management, (Business) Informatics, Economics, or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Experience in supporting project staff in planning and implementation contexts
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization
  • Experience in quality assurance and adherence to data provisioning specifications
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (ideally)
