As a Network Engineer at the uvex group, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust global network infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities will involve managing complex LAN, WLAN, and WAN architectures, as well as developing secure internet and remote access concepts. You will be hands-on with network and security components, ensuring stable operations through proactive monitoring, debugging, and structured error analysis. Beyond configuration, you will handle physical hardware tasks at data centers and local sites, including cabling and equipment replacement. Required Skills
Education
Degree in IT Systems Integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification; Cisco CCNA certification is preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in network engineering or system integration
- Proven experience in configuring and operating network and security components
- Practical experience with hardware installation, cabling, and data center maintenance
- Experience in managing complex network protocols and certificate-based access concepts
- Experience in technical project management for network infrastructure

- Willingness to travel for on-site assignments approximately 1-2 times per quarter; Ability to perform physical tasks including hardware replacement and cabling in data centers; Permission to work in Germany required.
