This role involves working within a specialized team to commission complex electromechanical, electronic, and optical systems for protected vehicle construction within the defense and security industry. Based in Kassel, you will take high personal responsibility for the functionality of safety-critical technologies. Day-to-day tasks include organizing system commissioning, conducting extensive functional tests, and performing system qualifications on highly complex military vehicles. You will collaborate closely with development departments, testing laboratories, and suppliers to ensure successful system integration. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician with further qualification as a State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) or equivalent.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics, preferably in measurement and control technology
  • Experience in measurement and testing technology as well as commissioning complex systems is advantageous
  • Experience in identifying and analyzing errors in networked mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Experience in analyzing and evaluating characteristic values and measurement results
