Job Summary

This role involves the maintenance and repair of critical air traffic control equipment at the Tactical Air Force Wing 51 'Immelmann' in Hohn. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the operational readiness of military air traffic control systems, specifically the ASR-S airport surveillance radar evaluation unit and the PAR 80 precision approach radar. Your daily tasks include monitoring stationary systems, ensuring successful flight measurements, and identifying electromagnetic interference to implement mitigation strategies. You will also perform technical modifications according to TA procedures and participate in ongoing specialized training.
