Job Summary
This role involves the digital monitoring and control of energy systems within a technologically advanced environment. As a specialist, you will serve as the primary technical consultant for customers regarding plant monitoring and communication interfaces. Your day-to-day responsibilities include planning, parameterizing, and commissioning telecontrol systems in compliance with IEC 61131-3 and grid operator standards (TAR 4110/4120). You will develop custom automation solutions, optimize existing systems, and troubleshoot technical faults. Additionally, you will configure web-based monitoring portals, analyze photovoltaic plant data, and manage secure VPN remote access. This position is unique for its blend of office-based planning and on-site field work, offering the chance to work on innovative renewable energy projects. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the monitoring systems, from technical documentation and circuit diagrams to the coordination of conformity certificates, ensuring stable and secure energy plant operations.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or degree in the field of electrical engineering; additional qualifications or knowledge in the IT environment are highly desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in monitoring and telecontrol technology, specifically within the photovoltaic sector, is preferred.
- Experience in the planning, parameterization, and commissioning of communication systems.
- Practical knowledge of automation technology and PLC programming according to international standards.
- Experience in creating technical documentation and electrical circuit diagrams.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical systems and manage secure network infrastructures.

- Valid Class B driver's license required; willingness to travel between office locations and construction sites; ability to manage plant-related certificates and conformity proofs.
