Job Summary

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or Natural Sciences/Engineering with a focus on IT; followed by a PhD (Doctorate) or equivalent academic qualification.

Experience

At least 5 years of professional experience following a university degree in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering fields
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience outside of the university/academic sector
Proven track record of scientific work and research excellence
Experience in teaching and the ability to inspire students through diverse and gender-sensitive pedagogical approaches
Experience in collaborating with industrial and social partners for research and knowledge transfer

Additional

Appointment is subject to §§ 49, 50 LHG (State Higher Education Act); initial appointment is typically as a civil servant on probation (Beamtenverhältnis auf Probe), though a fixed-term employment contract is possible.
