Job Summary

As the Team Lead for Assay Development on Market Portfolio, you will play a pivotal role in Roche's Research and Development division. You will lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10 employees, fostering a culture of innovation and agile working within the Core Lab Development organization. Your daily responsibilities include strategic resource planning, driving organizational change through the SAFe framework, and ensuring operational excellence in laboratory infrastructure. You will act as a key representative for the department, coordinating with local stakeholders such as Site Management and Health, Safety, and Environment (SHE) teams to maintain high safety standards. This position is unique for its blend of high-level leadership and technical oversight of in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) solutions. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or PhD in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in the development of in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) or diagnostic solutions
  • Proven leadership experience in disciplinary management and team development
  • Extensive experience working within matrix organizations
  • Professional experience in project management and agile working environments
  • Experience in strategic planning and prioritization within collaborative settings
