Job Summary

As a Laboratory Technician at the Weihenstephan dairy, part of the Theo Müller Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the premium quality and safety of dairy products such as milk, butter, and yogurt. Working within a 3-shift system in Freising, your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting chemical-physical, sensory, and microbiological laboratory tests on raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products. You will monitor the entire manufacturing process, from milk reception to final packaging, documenting results and collaborating closely with quality management, production, and technical departments. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Dairy Laboratory Technician, Agricultural Technical Assistant, Biology/Chemistry Laboratory Technician, BTA, CTA, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in microbiological or chemical-physical laboratory analysis is preferred
  • Experience working within a shift-based environment (early, late, and night shifts)
  • Experience in the food or dairy industry is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of reliability and precision in a laboratory setting

  • Must be willing to work in a 3-shift system including weekends and public holidays. Location: Freising (near Munich). Valid work permit for Germany required.
