Job Summary

Join Siemens Healthineers as an IT Infrastructure Expert, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by managing and optimizing high-performance computing environments for machine learning in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). You will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of NVIDIA DGX GPU clusters and Kubernetes, ensuring seamless operation and connectivity. This role involves developing cloud-based GPU training infrastructure, managing storage solutions, and creating tools to enhance the ML Ops pipeline. You will troubleshoot system issues, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with security policies, all while collaborating closely with data scientists and engineers to optimize machine learning workloads. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can apply your expertise in Linux, cloud infrastructure, and network configurations to drive innovation in medical technology.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure Administration
  • Professional experience in medical imaging or healthcare (beneficial)
  • Experience in managing and maintaining GPU clusters, ideally NVIDIA DGX systems (beneficial)
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration, including shell scripting and automation
  • Experience using Cloud infrastructure and basic knowledge of Windows system administration
  • Understanding of network configurations, protocols, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with managing storage servers and ensuring connectivity to compute clusters
