Job Summary

This role involves the development, construction, control, and maintenance of measurement and control systems within research and experimental setups at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics (ISTM). As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of laboratory infrastructure, which includes conducting DGUV3 safety inspections on equipment ranging from 220V to 400V. Your daily tasks will also involve supporting IT infrastructure and programming microcontrollers for data acquisition. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of autonomy, the opportunity to take on safety-related leadership roles (such as Laser Safety Officer), and the possibility of obtaining an instructor license. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in electronics or a related field
  • Professional experience in the development of electronic circuits
  • Experience in programming measurement data acquisition systems
  • Practical experience handling voltages between 230V and 400V
