Job Summary

As a Senior Professional System Engineer, you will join a 18-member DevOps team responsible for the automated provisioning of services within the Federal Employment Agency's private cloud (BApC). Operating in one of Germany's largest IT landscapes, your daily work involves designing, developing, testing, and optimizing software solutions in an agile environment. You will implement strategic standards, manage IT infrastructure, and perform incident analysis and change management according to ITIL processes. A key part of the role includes providing guidance to other team members and driving innovation for quality improvement. This position is particularly attractive due to its high flexibility, offering up to 80% remote work (home office), a structured onboarding process, and extensive professional development opportunities including up to 20 days of training per year. The role is permanent and based at various locations across Germany, including Nuremberg, Berlin, and Hamburg.
