As a Remote Support Engineer for Computed Tomography (CT) at Siemens Healthineers, you will provide critical international technical support to healthcare providers. Your day-to-day involves diagnosing complex technical malfunctions remotely, conducting detailed error analyses, and determining necessary spare parts using specialized diagnostic tools and knowledge databases. You will act as a vital link between local service technicians and R&D, ensuring high-quality problem resolution and customer satisfaction. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Medical Technology. Alternatively, a completed vocational training with additional technician certification and extensive relevant experience in medical technology.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the service or installation of Computed Tomography (CT) systems
- Proven experience with CT portfolios and specific Customer Service (CS) tools
- Experience in performing detailed technical error analysis and remote diagnostics
- Professional experience in a customer-facing support or technical advisory role
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in shifts (early and late shifts between 07:00 and 18:00) and participate in weekend on-call duties approximately every eight weeks. Candidates must be eligible for mobile work within Germany (up to 60%).
