Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Electrical Engineer specializing in high and medium voltage grids, working for MITNETZ STROM, a leading regional distribution network operator in Eastern Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for the control and monitoring of electricity and gas networks, ensuring a secure power supply and preparing the grid for future energy demands. Day-to-day tasks include managing the medium and high voltage grid, performing switching operations for planned network activities, coordinating rapid restoration efforts during outages, and maintaining voltage levels, even with high decentralized feed-ins. This position involves a 12-month intensive training period in control center operations and requires readiness for a 3-shift system with regular on-call duty.
