Job Summary

As a Production Digitalization and Digital Twin Planner at MAN Truck & Bus, you will be at the forefront of transforming truck manufacturing through innovative digital methods. Based in Munich, your day-to-day responsibilities involve developing the Digital Twin as a central planning tool by integrating product, process, and resource data. You will analyze existing workflows to drive data-based transformations, specify requirements for simulations and visualizations, and implement pilot projects across various production trades. The role focuses on optimizing ergonomics and productivity by virtually evaluating layouts and material flows. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of flexibility, offering up to 80% remote work and the opportunity to work 20 days per year from other EU countries. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering/Automation, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in digital production planning and industrialization
  • Extensive experience in modeling, simulation, and structured configuration/version management
  • Proven track record in digitalization projects related to digital factory and end-to-end planning processes
  • Practical experience working at the interface of IT and engineering, specifically with data labs and automation systems
