Job Summary

As a Patent Attorney at MAN Truck & Bus, you will play a critical role in protecting innovation within the international TRATON Group R&D environment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of intellectual property, from identifying protectable ideas to conducting independent opposition and appeal proceedings both domestically and internationally. The role involves drafting responses to office actions, performing Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses, and monitoring third-party IP rights. You will serve as a strategic advisor to inventors and global decision-makers, ensuring that IP strategies align with business objectives in the fields of autonomous driving and electromobility. This position is particularly attractive due to its high degree of flexibility, offering up to 80% remote work and the opportunity to work from other EU countries for 20 days per year, all while being part of a leading global commercial vehicle manufacturer.
