As an IT Release Manager based in Dortmund, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination and management of software release cycles, covering build, deployment, and post-go-live phases. You will play a pivotal role in defining quality standards and best practices while ensuring efficient release orchestration across various departments. Your daily tasks involve planning, monitoring, and reporting release cycles to stakeholders, alongside identifying and mitigating risks within the process. This position is highly collaborative, requiring close interaction with Development, Product Management, DevOps, Change Management, and Infrastructure teams to optimize existing workflows. Required Skills
Education
Degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- 2-5 years of professional experience in test management or a related field
- Several years of experience in IT Release Management
- Proven experience in creating and implementing release strategies and plans
- Practical experience with release orchestration tools
- Experience working within cross-functional teams including DevOps and Infrastructure
