As a Biologist, you will be a key contributor to molecular pathological diagnostics, focusing on the application, establishment, and development of modern diagnostic procedures, including Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). Your daily work involves handling infectious sample material and preparing medical findings that are critical for patient therapy. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Biology, Biomedicine, or a comparable field with a focus on Molecular Biology (Master's or Diploma required; Doctorate/PhD preferred).
Experience
- Professional experience in molecular biological diagnostics and methodology
- Experience with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and bioinformatics tools is preferred
- Experience in handling pathogens is desirable
- Previous experience or certification as a project leader in genetic engineering is an advantage
