This role involves the comprehensive planning, adaptation, and documentation of wiring harnesses and electrical system architectures for a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in Mannheim. On a day-to-day basis, the engineer will integrate new components and control units into existing vehicle structures, conduct systematic troubleshooting on prototypes, and perform functional testing on test benches. A significant portion of the work involves diagnosing communication networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and managing ECU flashing processes using industry-standard tools. Required Skills

  • Practical experience in wiring harness design, wiring, and measurement technology
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and structured testing on vehicles or test benches
  • Proven experience in flashing control units and managing software versions
  • Professional experience using Vector-based analysis and simulation tools
