This role involves leading and managing civil engineering projects for the Schweinfurt State Construction Office, specifically within the Urban Engineering department. You will be responsible for the independent control and coordination of diverse projects including traffic facilities, wastewater management, water supply, and open spaces across all performance phases. Key tasks include monitoring schedules, costs, and quality, as well as acting as the primary representative for the building owner. You will work within an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with specialists in building construction and electrical engineering while managing external consultants and contractors. Required Skills

Education

Degree (Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering, or Bachelor of Science) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Urban Water Management, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or urban water management
  • Experience in managing and processing complex construction projects according to current guidelines and technical regulations
  • Experience in public procurement law and relevant legal areas such as water rights and nature conservation is advantageous
  • Proven experience in project steering and coordination of interdisciplinary teams
