Job Summary
As a Data Center Operations Technician in Berlin, you will be responsible for the independent operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of critical Technical Building Services (TGA). Your daily tasks include managing medium-voltage and emergency power systems, UPS systems, and HVAC/cooling units. You will play a vital role in identifying and rectifying faults, planning switching operations, and ensuring strict adherence to customer service-level agreements and quality standards. This position operates on a multi-shift basis to provide 24/7 coverage for the facility's infrastructure. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering (e.g., Building Technician, Electrician, Electronics Technician for Building and Infrastructure Systems), Cooling Technology, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in operating, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and HVAC/cooling technology
- Experience in planning and executing switching operations independently
- Experience working within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Experience in electronic documentation of technical activities
