Job Summary

As a Senior Tax Expert at a major insurance group within the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's tax compliance and investment strategy. Based in Stuttgart, your daily responsibilities include overseeing the Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS), monitoring legal changes, and conducting tax due diligence for capital investments. You will serve as the primary specialist for investment tax law (InvStG) and the Foreign Tax Act (AStG), while ensuring adherence to international reporting standards such as DAC6, Pillar 2, and FATCA/CRS. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to provide expert opinions to decision-makers and coordinate with executive boards and auditors. Required Skills

Education

University degree with a focus on Taxes and Accounting or a Law degree; successfully passed Tax Advisor Exam (Steuerberaterexamen).

Experience

  • Professional experience in tax transaction and structuring advisory
  • Experience in managing international reporting obligations (DAC6, CbCR, Pillar 2)
  • Experience in conducting tax due diligence for investments
  • Proven track record of interacting independently with executive boards and auditors
  • Professional experience in a senior tax advisory or corporate tax role
