Job Summary

As a Commissioning Engineer for Digital Products at the Voith Group, you will take technical ownership of the commissioning and servicing of digital products for controllable drive systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the system-level integration of electrical equipment, automation systems, and condition-monitoring solutions into customer processes. You will analyze electrical and digital interfaces, evaluate electromagnetic interference, and provide expert consultation to customers regarding improvements and troubleshooting. A key part of the role involves performing controller parameterization and optimization on-site to ensure seamless integration with customer operations. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in digital and electrical systems, specifically with grid connections and low-voltage inverters
  • Experience in commissioning and servicing drive systems or industrial automation
  • Practical experience in hands-on electrical engineering tasks
  • Experience in analyzing electrical/digital interfaces and electromagnetic interference
  • Background in a mechanical engineering vocational training is preferred
