Job Summary
The Federal IT Cooperation (FITKO) is seeking three Product Managers to drive the digital transformation of public administration in Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and refining product strategies for key federal IT infrastructure components, specifically within the FIM (Federal Information Management), PVOG (Portal Network Online Gateway), and 115 (Government Service Number 115) product ecosystem. You will coordinate the implementation of product goals with various stakeholders, lead internal and external product teams, and manage central work packages for the re-alignment of the product cluster. This position requires a creative, team-oriented individual with strong self-organization skills, capable of blending traditional administration with innovative methodologies to deliver significant value to users and stakeholders.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Master, University Diploma, 2nd State Examination) in Computer Science, Business or Administrative Informatics, Data Science, Natural or Engineering Sciences, Social Sciences, or comparable fields; alternatively, equivalent relevant qualifications.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a qualified role
- Preferred experience in the setup and management of data-intensive software solutions
- Experience in leading teams
- Experience in managing software development projects and IT service providers
- Experience in committee and community work
