Job Summary
This Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the University of Wuppertal offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between Computer Science and Geosciences. Required Skills
Education
Completed Doctorate (PhD) in Computer Science or Geosciences; and a completed University Degree (Master's or equivalent) in Geosciences or Computer Science.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience using the GeoArmadillo data analysis platform
- Professional experience in Python programming specifically using the Pandas library
- Proven track record in the automated evaluation of laboratory analyses
- Experience in successfully applying for at least one third-party funded project
- Professional experience in geochemical data analysis
- Experience in collaborative software development within a team environment
Languages
Additional
- Must be able to produce scientific applications in both German and English. Position is fixed-term from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Full-time and part-time options are available.
