Job Summary
This role focuses on managing central procurement needs and optimizing business processes within the University Administration of Bergische Universität Wuppertal. You will be responsible for creating service descriptions for university-wide requirements, conducting needs analyses, and monitoring existing framework agreements. The position also involves drafting official statements, analyzing complaints, and coordinating with various departments. A key aspect is developing, implementing, and refining a process landscape, including modeling, analyzing, and documenting business processes, often through workshops and interviews. You will also support IT implementation projects in project management. The ideal candidate has a university degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, or Business Administration, or a vocational qualification with significant relevant experience, along with knowledge of procurement law, project management, and business process management, particularly BPMN 2.0. Proficiency in MS Office and strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (University of Applied Sciences or Bachelor) in Informatics, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field; OR H2-level vocational training or completed vocational training with at least three years of professional experience in the advertised area of responsibility.
