Job Summary

As an IT Lecturer at the Academy for Constitutional Protection, you will play a vital role in training the next generation of Germany's domestic intelligence service. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the conception, preparation, and delivery of training courses for civil servants, specifically focusing on intelligence information systems. You will also be responsible for developing and expanding digital learning formats and participating in expert committees. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy teaching and have a strong affinity for technology and digital transformation. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in Computer Science, Communication and Media Studies, Administrative Sciences, or Teaching. Alternatively, a degree in another field combined with one year of teaching experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in teaching or adult education, specifically in IT or technical subjects
  • Experience in the digitalization of teaching content or willingness to undergo training in this area
  • At least one year of teaching experience in vocational training if the degree is in a non-specialized field
  • Experience in public administration or civil service career paths is preferred

Additional

  • German citizenship required. Must pass a teaching demonstration as part of the selection process. Must pass written and oral aptitude tests. Willingness to undergo a security clearance for the intelligence service.
