As an IT Project Manager within the SAP Competence Center Stuttgart (CCS), you will play a pivotal role in the digital transformation of the City of Stuttgart. This position involves leading cross-departmental technical projects, where you will be responsible for the entire software lifecycle—from initial analysis and design to development, testing, and documentation. You will work on modernizing SAP applications using ABAP, Neptune, and SAPUI5 technologies, ensuring stable system operations and solving complex software issues. Required Skills
Education
University degree in IT, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical field; alternatively, completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) with additional professional experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in SAP software development and project management for candidates with a university degree
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in the IT field for candidates with vocational training (Fachinformatiker)
- Proven experience in leading or sub-project management of IT or software development projects
- Extensive experience with SAP standard technical tools and integration technologies
- Experience in communicating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders

Additional
- Recognition of foreign degrees is mandatory (e.g., via ZAB or equivalent German authorities). Official translations of non-German certificates by sworn translators are required. The role is based in Stuttgart with options for partial mobile work.
