Job Summary

This role involves executing complex system integration projects within the defense sector for a high-tech software manufacturer specializing in communication technology. You will be responsible for the setup and configuration of radio, communication, and network technology—including routers, firewalls, servers, and sensors—on pre-installed hardware. Day-to-day duties include fine-tuning systems to client specifications, updating firmware and operating systems, applying security patches, and performing rigorous functional testing and troubleshooting. A unique aspect of this position is the opportunity to work with high-profile aerospace and defense clients like Airbus, combined with providing technical training and consulting directly to customers. The role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy hands-on hardware and software integration and are comfortable with high levels of travel across Munich and Central Germany. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training or degree as an IT Specialist for System Integration, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in software and hardware integration and IP network structures
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience using documentation, ticketing, and project management tools
  • Experience in the setup and configuration of network components like routers and firewalls
  • Preferred experience in wireless communication systems and IT cabling
