Job Summary
Cube Biotech GmbH is looking for a structured and dedicated IT Administrator to join their team in Monheim. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, configuration, and maintenance of both Windows and Linux-based server infrastructures. Your duties will include managing virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V, administering Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint), and overseeing network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPN connections. You will also play a key role in implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies using tools like Veeam. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification. Certifications such as MCSA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or CCNA are considered an advantage.
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in an IT infrastructure environment
- Extensive experience in the administration of Microsoft 365 services
- Proven experience in Windows Server environments and Linux command-line management
- Practical experience with virtualization technologies and backup strategy implementation
- Experience in managing network components including managed switches and firewalls
