Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and continuous development of the time management and HR software systems for the city of Potsdam. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting users with technical queries, configuring system interfaces, and collaborating with IT and software vendors to resolve issues. A key part of the job is to conceptualize and implement IT-supported HR processes, including the introduction of new software modules and the development of workflows. Additionally, the role involves processing time management data, calculating leave entitlements, and providing expert guidance on working time models. This position offers an opportunity to significantly contribute to the digitalization of HR processes within a large public administration, combining technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's / University of Applied Sciences degree in Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, Public Administration, Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt), or comparable qualification
Experience
- Relevant professional experience in the public sector
- High level of media literacy, especially with standard software
- Very good basic IT knowledge and profound knowledge of IT infrastructure and specialized software
- Strong expertise in time management (e.g., leave entitlements, remaining leave entitlements) and personnel deployment planning
