As a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) serving as a Laboratory Coordinator, you will take professional responsibility for the biodegradation laboratory at Symrise's subsidiary, TESIUM. Your day-to-day activities involve planning and prioritizing sample batches, conducting biological degradation tests (specifically OECD 301), and ensuring the timely delivery of results. You will play a pivotal role in quality assurance by documenting procedures, creating study reports, and maintaining SOPs. Beyond technical execution, you will optimize laboratory workflows, coordinate tasks within the team, and manage administrative duties such as SAP procurement and risk assessments.
