Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer at ZEWOTHERM GROUP, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining control software for modern heat pump systems. Your daily activities will involve writing code in Structured Text (ST), implementing control functions for critical components like compressors and valves, and integrating sensors and actuators. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the software, from initial development and interface management to testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. This position is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with hardware development, product management, and service teams. Required Skills
Education
Degree, technician training, or vocational training in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming using Structured Text (IEC 61131-3)
- Practical experience in commissioning and debugging of automated systems
- Experience in developing structured software architectures
- Experience in the integration of sensors, actuators, and fieldbus systems
- Background in automation, electrical engineering, or mechatronics
