Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated PLC Programmer focused on developing and maintaining clean control software for modern, efficient heat pump systems at the ZEWOTHERM GROUP. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and refining PLC software using Structured Text (IEC 61131-3), implementing complex regulation and control functions for core components like compressors, pumps, and valves, and managing communication interfaces. You will be responsible for integrating sensor and actuator technology, commissioning controls, and supporting troubleshooting efforts, working closely with hardware development and service teams. The ideal candidate brings a background in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics, coupled with practical experience in commissioning, debugging, and structured software architecture.
