Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a high-tech cleanroom environment for a leading developer of radiation sensors. As a Technical Assistant or Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the independent manufacturing of radiation detectors, executing critical semiconductor fabrication steps including wet chemical etching, cleaning, lithography, and high-temperature processes. You will play a vital role in quality assurance by performing optical and metrological inspections and documenting all production steps. Beyond technical execution, you will manage production equipment and handle logistics for external service providers. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy scientific precision and want to contribute to cutting-edge research and industrial microanalysis tools. Required Skills

Education

Degree or vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Physical Technical Assistant (PhyTA), Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant (PTA), Microtechnologist, or a Bachelor of Science in Chemical/Physical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in chemical, physical, or pharmaceutical technical assistance
  • Initial experience in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred
  • Experience working under cleanroom conditions
  • Experience in documenting production steps and quality controls
  • Experience in operating and monitoring industrial production equipment
