Job Summary
As a Hardware and FPGA Developer at PNDetector, you will play a central role in the semiconductor development division, focusing on high-performance electronic circuits for radiation sensors. Your daily responsibilities include designing and developing complex analog and digital circuits, as well as architecting and optimizing FPGA firmware using VHDL or Verilog. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from initial simulation and PCB layout to laboratory testing and series production. This role is highly technical, requiring a hands-on approach to hardware-related firmware validation and system-level integration. The position is particularly attractive due to its location in Munich's high-tech sector, offering a 38-hour work week, flexible hours, and a structured onboarding process with a dedicated mentor. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in FPGA development and digital design
- Professional experience in analog and digital circuit design and PCB layout
- Experience with professional development tools for schematic capture and hardware verification
- Practical experience in C/C++ and microcontroller programming is preferred
- Experience in taking products from prototyping to series production
