Job Summary

As an Engineering Project Manager for Procurement, you will serve as a critical link between R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain within the Gas Turbines product line. Your daily responsibilities involve driving cost-optimization initiatives using Cost Value Engineering (CVE) methodologies and leading cross-functional teams to identify savings potential across manufacturing and quality management. You will represent the procurement function in key R&D projects, ensuring target costs are met by integrating strategic suppliers early in the development process. This role is unique for its high level of visibility, requiring you to leverage supplier innovation and technology scouting to influence the next generation of energy products. You will actively collaborate with Sales and Marketing during bidding processes to ensure competitive product offerings. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys technical problem-solving combined with strategic commercial influence in the global energy transition sector.

Required Skills

Education

Combined technical and commercial degree or a purely technical degree (minimum Bachelor's level).

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the energy business, engineering, R&D, project management, or supply chain
  • Extensive experience in project management and interpersonal communication with internal customers
  • Proven experience in the design and operation of gas turbine components and systems
  • Professional experience in driving savings potential in cross-functional environments including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales
