Job Summary

This interdisciplinary role within the Department of Cardiology and Pneumology at the University Medical Center Göttingen focuses on advancing precision medicine through patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) models. As a PhD student, you will be responsible for developing 2D and cardiac organoid models to study cardiovascular diseases, utilizing CRISPR/Cas9 for genetic modifications, and producing AAV vectors for preclinical testing. You will apply high-throughput screening methods and imaging-based analysis to identify novel therapeutic strategies for heart failure. This position is ideal for researchers passionate about the intersection of basic science and translational medicine.
