Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position at the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU) involves the maintenance and operation of the Bavarian Air Quality Monitoring System (LÜB). Based in Kulmbach, the successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of over 250 automatic measuring devices across more than 50 stations throughout Bavaria. Day-to-day duties include working in specialized electrotechnical workshops and laboratories, as well as conducting field service to maintain station infrastructure and assist in the setup of mobile monitoring units. The role is integrated into a quality management system following DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Experience in documenting technical activities according to quality management guidelines
  • Practical experience in workshop and field service environments
  • Experience in handling measurement systems or environmental monitoring infrastructure
