Job Summary

As a Project Manager for Environmental and Landscape Planning in Weimar, you will lead the coordination of internal and external stakeholders while advising clients on nature conservation and environmental law. Your daily responsibilities involve preparing critical documentation for planning approval processes, including Environmental Impact Assessments (UVP), Landscape Conservation Plans (LBP/LAP), and Species Protection Reports (AFB). You will also conduct field data collection through faunistic and floristic mapping and oversee ecological construction monitoring to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Environmental and Landscape Planning, Geoecology, Biology, Geography, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in environmental, spatial, or landscape planning projects
  • Proven experience in the preparation of project proposals and commercial project handling
  • Experience in field data collection including faunistic and/or floristic mapping
  • Experience in coordinating stakeholders and advising clients on environmental legal matters
