Job Summary
In this role as a WMS/TMS Key User at ID Logistics' new cold storage facility in Steinau an der Straße, you will be the primary link between operational teams, central IT, and external partners. Your daily responsibilities include ensuring the functionality of all IT-supported logistics processes, implementing system optimizations, and managing change requests. You will be responsible for troubleshooting system issues, coordinating with external service providers, and conducting user training. The position is highly collaborative, requiring you to develop dashboards, reports, and system documentation while participating in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT, commercial, or logistics fields; a university degree is considered an advantage. Prince2 certification is optional.
Experience
- Professional experience in warehouse processes and logistics systems
- Experience in IT Incident Management, preferably following ITIL standards
- Proven track record in system implementation, optimization, and testing
- Experience in coordinating with external service providers and central IT departments
- Experience in conducting technical training and creating instructional documentation
Languages
Additional
- Flexibility for occasional business travel and on-call duty is required. French language skills are considered an advantage. Location: Steinau an der Straße.
