Job Summary

This role focuses on the development of innovative digital modules for mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) specifically designed for hearing implants. As a key member of the engineering team, you will handle the entire design cycle from initial concept to functional design, including Verilog/SystemVerilog coding, simulation, synthesis, and place-and-route verification. You will utilize cutting-edge EDA tools and modern digital design methodologies to ensure high-performance architectures. A significant part of the role involves collaborating with internal and external specialists to translate technical requirements into silicon solutions. This position is particularly attractive for engineers looking to work on life-changing medical technology within a flexible working environment. The role is full-time (38.5 hours) and offers a stable contract through May 2028, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the full IC design lifecycle from prototyping to silicon evaluation.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher (University or FH) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in digital CMOS IC design
  • Professional experience with modern CAD/EDA tools
  • Experience in the full digital and mixed-signal IC design cycle
  • Experience in Verilog/SystemVerilog coding and simulation
  • Analog design knowledge is considered a valuable plus
