Job Summary
As a Process Control and Network Systems Administrator for a regional water utility provider, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous supply of fresh water and wastewater treatment for 200,000 residents. Your daily responsibilities involve the monitoring and management of complex data networks, process control systems (PLS), and archive databases. You will be actively involved in programming and troubleshooting remote control systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), as well as maintaining the IT infrastructure essential for process technology. Beyond technical maintenance, you will contribute to the development of network concepts and ensure robust IT security across the infrastructure. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of responsibility in critical infrastructure, offering a secure, permanent contract under the TVöD-VKA public service collective agreement, comprehensive health management, and a strong focus on work-life balance with 30 days of annual leave.
Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering specializing in Automation Technology, or an equivalent professional degree; alternatively, a technical vocational qualification combined with extensive professional experience.

- Experience in monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure within a process control environment
- Experience in user support for network and process control systems
